17 Chlorine

From Greek khloros, green; 1797

72 Hafnium

From Latin Hafnia, Copenhagen; 1923
Far out at sea the waters as blue as the petals of the loveliest cornflower, and as clear a the purest glass; but it's very deep, deeper than any anchor can reach. Many church steeples would have to be piled up one above the other to reach from the bottom of the sea to the surface. Right down there live the sea people.
~ Hans Christian Andersen, The Little Mermaid
'I don't understand. All my life I've been waiting for someone and when I find her, she's... she's a fish.'
~ Allen from Splash

8 Oxygen

From Greek osme meaning smell.
Apollo 13 was the third manned lunar-landing mission. It was flown by James Lovell, Jack Swigert, and Fred Haise. Two days after the launch, The Apollo spacecraft was crippled by an explosison, caused by an electrical fault in an oxygen tank.
